Optical Lens

Optical Lenses may consist of a single or multiple elements, are used in a wide variety of applications from microscopy to laser processing. Many industries utilize Optical Lenses, including life sciences, imaging, industrial, or defense. Honour Optics is the professional spherical/aspherical/cylindrical/paraboloid optical lens manufacturer, welcome to consult the price of procurement optical lens manufacturer/supplier and for sale in China.

Honour Optics offers optical lenses include spherical, aspherical, cylindrical, paraboloid and achromatic for Ultraviolet (UV), visible and Infrared (IR) applications. Honour Optics is a professional specialist of optical material from VUV TO IR. UV and IR lens materials include Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), Zinc Sulfide(ZnS), Silicon (Si), Germanium (Ge), Calcium Fluoride (CaF2), Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2), (Barium Fluoride) BaF2, Lithium Fluoride (LiF) and UV grade Fused Silica. All other kinds of optical glasses from local or imported for visible spectrum transmission.

Honour Optics offers standard optical lenses according to your request specifications. Many of Honour Optics’ lenses are offered with coating options for the Ultraviolet (UV), visible, Infrared (IR) spectrums.

As light passes through a lens, it is affected by the lens’ profile or substrate. A Plano-Convex (PCX) or Double-Convex (DCX) lens causes light to focus to a point, while a Plano-Concave (PCV) or Double-Concave (DCV) lens causes the light traveling through the lens to diverge. Achromatic Lenses are ideal for applications requiring color correction, while Aspheric Lenses are designed to correct spherical aberration. Germanium (Ge), Silicon (Si), or Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) lenses are ideal for transmitting the Infrared (IR) spectrum, while Fused Silica is well suited for the Ultraviolet (UV). These lenses make a superior choice for many laser and imaging applications, particularly those involving ultraviolet wavelengths. Honour Optics is the professional special high precision optical lens manufacturer/supplier manufacturer, welcome to consult the price of procurement customizable UV and IR grade optical lens and procurement high efficiency optical lens parts.

1.Spherical Lenses

Plano-Concave (PCV) lens

Plano concave lens has a negative focal length and will be used to emit a beam of parallel light. We can choose reasonable materials for processing (texture, bubbles, impurities, uniformity). When the material is grinding, this allows for interference with the light, it doesn’t create clutter (scratches, indentation, gloss). Honour optics can offer them with coatings of different materials.
The most commonly used material UV Fused Silica. The UV Grade lenses are precision manufactured using research-grade synthetic fused silica. In addition to providing excellent transmission characteristics and higher operating temperatures, synthetically fused silica lenses also exhibit an exceptional inclusion specification and chemical purity. These lenses make a superior choice for many laser and imaging applications, particularly those involving ultraviolet wavelengths. A broadband anti-reflection coating is available for optimized throughput in the ultraviolet spectrum.

Plano-Convex (PCX) Lens

Such lenses are used to focus parallel light or to convert point sources into parallel light. The focal length of a single lens is the distance from the main point to the focal point. Since the focal length varies with the wavelength, the focal length varies with other wavelengths when used.

Double-Convex (DCX) lens

The double convex lens is a kind of double convex lens plate, which includes the incident plane and the projection plane. Its characteristic is that the focal length of the middle part of the lens plane is long, and the focal length of the end part of each lens plane is short. A double convex lens is used to focus light from a point source or to transmit images to other optical systems. Honour optics can offer Double-Convex (DCX) lens according to your request materials with coated of different materials.

Double-Concave (DCV) lens

Double concave lens and plane-concave lens are similar, the focal length is negative, but the ray of parallel incident radiates outwards, the radius of curvature of two sides of the double concave lens is equal, it will be used at expanding beam ray and projection commonly. We can also choose different materials such as regular Fused Silica according to the Wavelength Range of 200 - 2200nm and Popular UV-AR Coating Options Available.

Meniscus Lenses

Meniscus lenses are convex-concave lenses. They have one outward curved face and one inward-curved face. If the outward curve is sharper than the inward curve, the lens has a negative focal length and acts as a reducing lens. The Positive Meniscus Lens can increase the NA of the system while only adding slightly to the total spherical aberrations. The Negative Meniscus Lens is used to increase the focal length of another lens while maintaining the angular resolution of the optical assembly. This lens shape is best used when one conjugate is relatively far from the lens. As well as, Meniscus lenses are used in applications to reduce beam distortion. They are used on focusing light beam in telescopes, collimators or condenser systems, optical transceivers or other applications.

Due to technological advancement and different optical lenses composition, a wide range of applications are observed from microscopy to laser processing. Many industries utilize Optical Lenses, including life sciences, imaging, industrial, or defense. As light passes through a lens, it is affected by the lens’ profile or substrate. There are different industries that utilize optical lenses for finite imaging, robotic vision, defense or medical equipment. Honour Optics is the professional special high precision optical lens manufacturer/supplier manufacturer, welcome to consult the price of procurement customizable UV and IR grade optical lens and procurement high efficiency optical lens parts.

IR Lenses (Infrared Lenses)

Infrared wavelengths to denote the range of 900 nm to 25 um, according to the characteristics of different infrared lens materials, processing methods and process equipment are also different. Honour optics can offer the typical infrared optical material with crystalline materials such as Ge, Si, ZnS, ZnSe, CaF2, MgF2, BaF2, LiF administered, some of the more than 900 nm pervious to light glass material such as infrared quartz glass, sapphire, and infrared light plastic, such as organic glass, PE, PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene).

UV Lenses (Ultraviolet Lenses)

UV Lenses are optical lenses consisting of single or multiple elements that have been designed for optimal performance when used with ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet lenses utilize specific substrates and anti-reflection coatings. Many optical lenses that perform well in the ultraviolet may also have a strong performance in the visible, near-infrared, or infrared spectra.

Honour Optics offers a wide variety of standard UV Lenses, including singlet lenses such as PCX or DCX lenses, achromatic lenses, or ball lenses. Achromatic lenses are ideal for use with polychromatic illumination in fluorescence applications or for focusing ultraviolet light sources. UV achromatic lenses also provide superior chromatic aberration correction compared to standard ultraviolet lenses. Lens substrates include Calcium Fluoride (CaF2), Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2), Lithium Fluoride (LiF) and UV grade Fused Silica. UV Lenses are used in many collimations, focusing, or laser applications that operate in, or extend into, the ultraviolet spectrum.
